What is MEOW BORG?

As we know, cats sleep about sixteen hours a day. That's quite a lot... What do they really dream about? Good question!

MEOW BORG will give you the answer – a tabletop roleplaying game where you become cats and venture into the mysterious and grim, yet wild and amusing world of incredible feline dreams.

The expanses of Meowtropolis teeming with wild and not-so-wild creatures.
The buzzing flying mechanical fortress-factories of the Constructologists.
The endless starry sea through which lies the path to the Sigma Catavra system.
And, of course, HIM.

The mythical city of feline dreams – MEOWBURG.

A dream-city. A ghost-city. A mystery-city.
An impossible place, in the center of which rises the MEOW BORG – the Purring Citadel, residence of all feline goddesses and gods who visit the world of cat dreams from time to time.

MEOW BORG in Brief

⚡ Cats in the Dream World. Thanks to the innovative purr-method, create your feline alter-ego in 5 minutes and embark on scratch-post adventures.

⚡ Strange Feline Nature. Try on one of eight roles available at the start: Book Purrer, Colonel Fluff, Kitten Two Cheese Sauce, Street Cat Royale, Heart Thief, Voice of the Cat People, The One from Schrödinger's Box, or Real Electric Meowpire!

⚡ Nine Lives. A cat lives one in ordinary reality, and the other eight help avoid trouble or jump higher than their head in the dream realm.

⚡ Crunchies, Treats, Shinies. Some serve as currency and enhance weapons, others give second and subsequent chances, still others contain particles of magic. Grab a bit of everything.

⚡ Heroic Unity. Merge into one mega-cat to achieve the impossible.

⚡ Cat Fights. Never before have they been so diverse!

⚡ Wide Possibilities. 40 spells of semi-forbidden purr-magic, 18 meowpire superpowers, 8 unique colonel weapons, cunning combinations of Street Cat Royale, Schrödinger's potions, various interesting weapons and other accessories to ease or complicate dream adventures.

⚡ Magical and Nightmarish CAT-astrophes. All mistakes have their consequences.

⚡ Harsh World. Meowburg and its surroundings, full of dangers. Here even crows tap out black metal with their beaks on glass.

⚡ TTRPG inspired by MÖRK BORG. The underlying system is so familiar and yet so different. Familiar features and new mechanics.

A Word About the Game's Nature

Despite MEOW BORG being a game about cats' adventures in their unusual, strange, and mysterious dreams—dreams that humans know absolutely nothing about—it cannot be called a children's game.

The world of feline dreams in MEOW BORG is harsh and dangerous. It can sometimes be frightening or filled with decidedly adult humor—or devoid of humor entirely, at the will of the dream purr-veyor.

No cats or kittens were harmed in the creation of MEOW BORG. Unlike the game about dreams, real cats have only one life. Take care of your cats.
